Did anyone watch Doctor Who yesterday?
Ok, so it's not fashion-related. BIG DEAL! It's my blog and I can talk about whatever I like. Ha!
And as it happens, I am obsessed beyond obsession with Doctor Who. There. I said it. Actually, that proves that not every fashion addict or shopaholic has to be ditsy or super-girly. Which is an added bonus, I guess!
Anyway, back to the nub and gist or whatever it is. I loved Doctor Who yesterday! For those less informed of you, it was the first of a brand new series, with 13 episodes, one aired each Saturday. Also, it was with a new actor playing the Doctor (the 11th so far) called Matt Smith, and a new woman playing the companion (Amy Pond) called Karen Gillan. Matt Smith is replacing David Tennant, which I was devastated about, but now have been convinced otherwise. Matt Smith is awesome! He may not be as hot as David Tennant, but he's still cool!
For the really dim of you (no offense!), here are some pictures. Matt Smith is on the left, David Tennant on the right.

Okay, I am so excited because today I went on a spur-of-the-moment shopping trip at the Metro Centre in Newcastle - yay! And I went to my beloved Primark to have the usual dither around, when I spotted some serious fashion gold. First they had a beautiful nude draped waistcoat with a lacy back for only £6! Then came the navy lace-up pumps, for £2, and the set of sorbet-pink bracelets for £1. I was in heaven!
So then I went off to recover from all the excitement with an emergency Starbucks trip - they do the most amazing cherry lollipops!
Once I was refreshed, I headed back to Primark for a last look. And I found it. The icing on the cake. The cream of the crop. The cherry on the trifle. The most amazing, fabtacular (is that even a word?!) thing EVER. A Jack Wills style striped pink and white shirt, that looked SO expensive! "How much?" I hear you cry! £3! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH! IT'S A MIRACLE!
